We often get through our days in any way we can. That can mean we are pushing through pain or discomfort in our bodies because we just don’t have the time or knowledge to find the “fix”. Imagine if your body worked for you in the way it should: Strong, stable, low on pain aside from some muscle soreness from a day of play or a great workout.

We all hope to live long healthy lives. One of the key components to longevity is a strong body able to remain mobile and stable over the years. I can help you find the solution to your aches, pains or hard to attain goal.

 Why?

Stability comes from the center, so core strength and integrity is our first stop. Then it is time to identify the weak links in the body, understand causes (i.e., injury, pregnancy, birth, etc), and then address those challenges with mobility focused movements and strengthening exercises specifically tailored to the individual.

I work with pre/postnatal women & athletes, especially when they’re both!

Being a mother I am well aware of the discomforts of pregnancy, the emotional rollercoaster of healing after giving birth, and the sleep deprived aches and pains of a new mom trying to keep it all together. I work with mothers who have had easy experiences and simply need help with low back pain and a sore neck. I also work with mothers who have had traumatic births, losses, and those who can’t seem to find relief from pain and discomfort. If you are a mother or are on the road to bringing life into this world, I can help you find the strength and stability to move through this big transition. 

I grew up dancing. For 25 year it was my heart and soul. Over those many years there were some injuries but my biggest challenge was advancement. My level of ability increased once I added pilates and strength into my weekly schedule. All athletes want to be better, to advance their skills but sometimes the body isn’t on board. With a simple assessment and exercises tailored to the individual body those skills may just blossom faster than expected!

Here are some challenges that can be improved by working with me:

  • Disconnection to core + pelvic floor post baby. E.g diastasis recti, prolapse recovery, c-section recovery

  • Aching body during and after pregnancy

  • Recovering from a sports injury but not making the progress you’d expect

  • Wanting to advance in your desired athletic pursuits but struggling to get yourself to the next level

This looks simple (and it is) but simple is effective!

  • Evaluate what’s happening  in the body -> Repattern the breath

  • Activate the correct muscles for your goals and build strength and stability into the new muscle pattern
